L1: CHECK VEHICLE SPEED STATUS DURING THE SOFTWARE UPDATE
1. Ascertain if the car was in motion during the software update
Was the car in motion during the software update?
- Yes : Software updates can only be performed when the vehicle is stationary. Advise the customer accordingly
- No : Check if there are any other vehicle faults or DTCs that would infer that the vehicle in motion status is unknown (If no speed signal is received, the InControl™ Apps system will assume the vehicle is in motion and it will be impossible to open speed inhibited apps even if the vehicle is actually stationary). Rectify as required
