CAUTION: Only compress the spring enough to install to the vehicle. Over compressing the spring may result in damage to the spring.NOTE:
- Only complete this step if a new spring is being installed.
- Make sure the spring is compressed to the exact measurements taken on the removal step.
Install the special tool to the spring.
Special Tool(s): JLR-204-854

CAUTION: Note the alignment of the spring to the lower arm.
Install the spring.
- Remove the special tool from the spring.
Special Tool(s): JLR-204-854
- Raise the hydraulic stand.
- CAUTION: Take extra care when handling the assembly. Failure to follow this instruction might result in damage to the CV or the CV boot.
- Connect the wheel knuckle to the lower arm.
- Renew the nut and bolt.
Renew Part: Rear lower arm to knuckle nut and bolt Quantity: 1 .
Torque
Stage 1: 110 Nm
Stage 2: 60°
- Connect the shock absorber the wheel knuckle.
- Renew the nut.
Renew Part: Shock absorber nut Quantity: 1 .
Torque: 170 Nm
- Install the integral link.
- Renew the nuts and bolts.
Renew Part: Integral link nuts and bolts Quantity: 2 .
Torque
Stage 1: 48 Nm
Stage 2: 60°
- Connect the stabilizer bar link.
- Renew the nut.
Renew Part: Stabilizer bar link retaining nut(s) Quantity: 1 .
Torque
Stage 1: 40 Nm
Stage 2: 45°
- Connect the toe link to the wheel knuckle.
- Renew the nut and bolt.
Renew Part: Toe link to knuckle nut and bolt Quantity: 1 .
Torque
Stage 1: 80 Nm
Stage 2: 60°
- Connect the suspension height sensor.
- Install the rear wheel and tire.
