Auxiliary Coolant Pump (G2034835): Removal

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING .
Partially drain the cooling system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING .

Release the coolant valve assembly.
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

Release the clips and disconnect the 2 coolant hoses.

Disconnect the electrical connector.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the auxiliary coolant pump mounting bracket.
