Brake Vacuum Pump - V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (G2264160): Removal

CAUTION: Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.

NOTE:

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING .
Drain the engine oil.
Refer to: the appropriate engine article.
Remove the undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD - V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL .

- Disconnect the vacuum pipe.
- Remove the 2 M6 x 65 bolts.
- Remove the brake vacuum pump.

Remove and discard the vacuum pump seal.
