Brake Vacuum Pipes

Preformed plastic pipes connect the brake booster to the brake vacuum pump to provide the vacuum for the brake booster. The brake vacuum pipe incorporates an in-line check valve. This prevents contamination from the brake vacuum pump to the brake vacuum pipes when the engine is switched off.

The brake vacuum pipes also incorporate a brake vacuum switch with an integral check valve. The integrated check valve is used to maintain the vacuum in the brake booster.
