Brake Pedal And Bracket (G2172298): Removal

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles

1. Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.

   Refer to: INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER TRIM PANEL .

2. Remove the accelerator pedal.

   Refer to: ACCELERATOR PEDAL .

   Disconnect and release the wiring harness.

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   Left-hand drive vehicles

4. NOTE: Make sure that the plastic pin is discarded.

   Remove the brake pedal assembly.

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   Right-hand drive vehicles

5. NOTE: Make sure that the plastic pin is discarded.
