Rear Wheel Bearing (G1274507): Removal

CAUTION:

The final tightening of the suspension components must be completed with the vehicle on its wheels.
LH illustration shown, RH is similar.

NOTE: Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.

Raise and lower the vehicle on a 4 post ramp.
WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

Remove and discard the halfshaft nut.

CAUTION: Do not use a hammer to detach the halfshaft from the hub assembly, failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the halfshaft.

- Use an additional wrench to prevent the component from rotating.
- Discard the nut.
