Shock Absorber And Spring Assembly (G2178898): Assembly

CAUTION: Make sure the spring ends butt correctly against the spring seats.

Install the shock absorber and spring assembly to the special tool.
WARNING: AS THE SPRING IS UNDER EXTREME TENSION CARE MUST BE TAKEN AT ALL TIMES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY.

Clamp the road spring.
NOTE: Install a new retaining nut.

Vehicles without adaptive damping.

Renew Part: Shock absorber nut Quantity: 1 .

Torque : 50 Nm
NOTE: Install a new retaining nut

Torque : 27 Nm

Release the road spring.

Remove the shock absorber and spring assembly from the special tool.
