- Remove the 4 nuts.
- Release the bracket from the engine stand.

Use a suitable hydraulic crane to remove the engine assembly from the engine stand.

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the engine stand adapter tool.
  Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1673

- Install the left engine mount bracket.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
  Torque: 63 Nm

- Use the special tool and a suitable hydraulic crane to install the engine into the vehicle.
  Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1633
  
  General Equipment: Hydraulic jib crane
- Make sure care is taken when aligning the engine mount studs.

Install and tighten the nut.

Torque: 60 Nm

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the special tool.
  Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1633-01

Install a new seal.

Renew Part: Halfshaft support bracket o-ring seal Quantity: 1.

- Install the halfshaft support bracket.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 25 Nm

Connect the vacuum hose.

Connect the 2 coolant hoses at the right side of the engine.

Connect the 3 coolant hoses at rear of the engine.

Connect the coolant top hose to the engine.

Connect the fuel supply and purge tube quick release connections.

Connect the 2 electrical connectors.

Torque: 3.6 Nm

- Install the left side body brace.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
  Torque: 55 Nm

- Connect the startup battery positive cable to the starter motor junction box.
- Install and tighten the nut.
- Install the cover.
  Torque: 12 Nm

Connect the block heater wiring harness.

Install the fluid cooler pipe bolt.

Torque: 12 Nm
Install the air conditioning (AC) compressor.

Install both the halfshafts.

Install the catalytic converter.

Install the radiator.
Refer to: RADIATOR .
Install the charge air cooler.

Install the secondary bulkhead left panel.

Install the cowl panel.
Refer to: COWL PANEL .
Install the hood.
Refer to: HOOD .
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
