Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
The cylinder head temperature sensor is located in a threaded hole in the front of the cylinder head. The threaded hole is located adjacent to the oil filter housing and the cylinder head engine coolant outlet pipe.
The sensor is a Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) type sensor with a 2 pin connection. There is 1 pin which receives a 5V reference voltage from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and the second pin provides a signal feedback to the PCM.
