Auxiliary Fuel Pump (G2473719): Removal

WARNING:
- Avoid flames, sparks or lighted substances.
- Place the vehicle in a well ventilated, quarantined area and arrange ' No Smoking/Petrol Fumes' signs about the vehicle.
- Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
CAUTION:
- Before disconnecting or removing the components, make sure the area around the joint faces and connections are clean. Plug open connections to prevent contamination.
- Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.

- Release the fuel system pressure.

- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

Release the 2 fuel lines.

- Release the 2 fuel line clips.
- Release the 2 fuel lines.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Release the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Remove the fuel filter and auxiliary fuel pump assembly.

NOTE: Only do the following steps, if a new component is to be installed.
- Remove the 3 nuts.
- Remove the auxiliary fuel pump cover.
- Remove and discard the hose clamp.
- Release the 2 fuel lines.
- Remove the auxiliary fuel pump.
