NOTE:

Normal Warranty procedures apply.
X760 VIN prior to GA903998, must remove fuse 32 for the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) (5A) located in the junction box (3) (see Owner's Handbook, Fuses-Luggage Compartment Junction Box) prior to the configuring of the Transmission Control Module (TCM).

CAUTION: This procedure requires DVD142.01 and Calibration File 210 loaded or later.

Connect the JLR approved battery support unit.
Connect the JLR approved diagnostic tool to the vehicle and begin a new diagnostic session by reading the VIN for the current vehicle and initiating the data collect sequence.
Follow the JLR approved diagnostic tool prompts.
If the hyperlink is not available, the application can be found as follows:
1. Select the Diagnosis Session Type.
2. Select the following symptom:
  - Powertrain - Automatic transmission and transaxle - Automatic transmission and transaxle symptoms - Harsh gear engagement from park or neutral
3. From 'Recommendations', run: Configure existing module - Transmission Control Module
X760 Vehicles with a VIN prior to GA903998, install the 5A fuse for the TPMS back into location 32 in the junction box (3) (see Owner's Handbook, Fuses- Luggage Compartment Junction Box).
Complete a DTC read and clear.
When all of the tasks are complete, exit the current session by selecting the Session tab and then select the Close Session option.
Disconnect the JLR approved battery support unit and the JLR approved diagnostic tool.
