The customer may report an issue of a squeaking or creaking noise from inside the vehicle, detectable when the steering wheel is rotated. This could be due to the lower steering column/bulkhead seal being incorrectly installed, causing it to rub on the lower steering column when the column is rotated. Confirm the customer issue and perform the following steps below

|
- If the steering column seal is not correctly located, realign the seal as necessary and retest
- If the noise persists, investigate the issue further, the noise could be from another component and not from the steering column/bulkhead seal
