Pinpoint Test F: Heated Rear Window Fault Diagnosis

  1. F1: EVIDENCE FOR HEATED REAR WINDOW FAILURE 
    1. The customer has reported a fault with the heated rear window operation.

    Can evidence be found to support this? To correctly diagnose a fault with the heated rear window operation the "Heated Rear Window Inspection Procedure" must be followed (found below the pinpoint tests) to determine if a replacement rear window is required.

    Yes  : The "Heated Rear Window Inspection Procedure" was followed and a fault was found, the rear window must be replaced.

    No  : The "Heated Rear Window Inspection Procedure" was followed and no fault was found or has been deemed permissible based on the evidence. No replacement rear window is offered to the customer. If the customer does not accept these findings, ask the customer to provide evidence of the fault either photographic or through demonstration.
