Positive Crankcase Ventilation Cap (G2370203): Removal

  1. Remove the engine cover.

    Refer to: ENGINE COVER - V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL

  2. Remove the cowl panel.

    Refer to: COWL PANEL

  3. CAUTION:
    • Damaging the positive crankcase ventilation cap is unavoidable.
    • Take care not to damage the camshaft cover.

    Remove and discard the positive crankcase ventilation cap.

  4. CAUTION: The positive crankcase ventilation cap spring will be under tension, take care when removing it from the camshaft cover.
    NOTE: Note the orientation of the positive crankcase ventilation cap seal and spring prior to removal.

    • Remove the positive crankcase ventilation cap seal and spring.
    • Retain the positive crankcase ventilation spring for the installation.
