Speakers (G2196498): Overview: Notes

The vehicle has four levels of audio system available:

InControl Touch 6 speaker 80 W audio system with Audio Head Unit (AHU) integrated 4 channel audio amplifier.
InControl Touch 11 speaker 380 W audio system with external 12 channel Audio Amplifier Module (AAM) and sub-woofer speaker.
InControl Touch Pro 11 speaker 380 W audio system with external 12 channel AAM and sub-woofer speaker.
InControl Touch Pro with surround sound 17 speaker 825 W audio system with external 16 channel AAM and sub-woofer speaker.

All audio systems, except for the InControl Touch 6 speaker system, are powered by an external Audio Amplifier Module (AAM) located in the left rear corner of the luggage compartment. The AAM is controlled by the Audio Head Unit (AHU) or the Infotainment Master Controller (IMC). The speakers are hardwired to the AM.

On the InControl Touch 6 speaker system the speakers are hardwired directly to an internal amplifier within the AHU.

On vehicles with the Telematics system fitted, a telematics speaker is located in a central position in the top of the instrument panel. Vehicles with InControl Touch Pro with surround sound 17 speaker system share the instrument panel co-axial speaker with the telematics system. For additional information, refer to: TELEMATICS
