Speakers - Project 8 (G2231241): Operation: Speakers

The speakers use an external Audio Amplifier Module (AAM). The speakers are connected directly to the AAM for this system.

Audio signals originate from the Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) and are passed to the AAM on a BroadR-Reach ® ethernet communication protocol. Audio signals processed by other infotainment systems are passed to the IMC for transmission to the AAM.

The AAM receives a power supply from:

A fuse in the Battery Junction Box (BJB).
The Voltage Quality Module (VQM).
A fuse in the Rear Junction Box (RJB).

The IMC receives a fused power supply from the BJB, via the Quiescent Current Control Module (QCCM) and a fuse in the RJB.
