Integrated Control Panel

The Touchscreen (TS) and Integrated Control Panel (ICP) are in the center of the instrument panel. The TS connects to the Infotainment Master controller (IMC) with a single Automotive Pixel Link 2 (APIX2) connection. The APIX2 connection provides power and ground connections for the TS and also data input and output.

Power and ground ICP are provided by the IMC.

The user controls the TS using touch icons located in the screen image.

The ICP sends volume control settings to the IMC on the High Speed (HS) Controller Area Network (CAN) comfort systems bus.

The TS is the primary user interface of the audio system. The TS communicates with the other components of the audio/infotainment system on the APIX2 connection via the IMC. This allows control of the audio system and other infotainment systems from a single point.

The Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment enables software updates to be downloaded.
