Keyless Vehicle Module (KVM)

The KVM is located behind the rear seats, above the right rear wheel arch. The module controls signal transmissions to and from the smart key and provides authorization to allow the vehicle to be entered and started. The KVM has a serial communication line connection to the RF receiver and a MS (Medium Speed) CAN (Controller Area Network) body systems bus connection to the BCM/GWM for authorizing vehicle unlocking and starting.
