Steering Angle Sensor Module - Project 8 (G2248413): Installation

    • Install the clockspring.
    • Install and tighten the 4 screws.

    Torque  : 1.5Nm 

  2. Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    • Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    • Install the steering column lower cover.
    • Install and tighten the 2 screws.

    Torque  : 1.5Nm 

  4. Install the steering column upper cover.
  5. NOTE: The clockspring locking pin will break during removal and must be discarded.

    Remove the locking pin.

  6. Install the steering wheel.

  7. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
