Instrument Cluster Warning Indicators

The Instrument Cluster (IC) and message center has warning indicators and warning messages to display the operating status of the anti-lock control stability assist functions. The warning indicators and messages give a visual notification of either a system warning or an information indication to the driver. There are 4 warning indicators on the IC, which vary dependent on the market. Besides there are several types of message relating to the anti-lock control stability assist functions. The 'DSC OFF' message is accompanied by an audible warning.
The following anti-lock control stability assist warning indicators are installed in the IC:
- Amber Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) warning indicator
- Red brake warning indicator
- Amber Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) activity warning indicator
- Amber 'DSC OFF' warning indicator.
