Engine replacement

Procedure to reset the fuel injector "zero fuel adaptions"

If after prior approval to replace an engine, has been agreed the follow procedure must be completed. A new replacement engine does NOT  arrive with new fuel injectors installed. The original fuel injectors will need to be re-installed  into the new replacement engine

  1. Install original fuel injectors. Each fuel injector must be installed into a different  cylinder location, from its original location
  2. Turn ignition ON
  3. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, complete the 'Injector replacement' routine
  4. Start engine
