Right Valve Cover (G2244095): Removal

NOTE:

  1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .

  2. Remove the supercharger.

    Refer to: SUPERCHARGER .

  3. Remove the right fuel rail.

    Refer to: RIGHT FUEL RAIL .

    • Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors.
    • Release the ground cable bolt.
    • Release the wiring harness clip.
    • Reposition the wiring harness away from the right valve cover.

    Disconnect the breather and reposition away from the right valve cover.

  6. NOTE: Note the position of the bolts indicated prior to removal.

    • Remove the 18 bolts from the right valve cover.
    • Carefully remove the right valve cover.
    • If the a new valve cover is not being installed, remove and discard the valve cover gasket.
