Oil Cooler (G2244086): Removal

NOTE:

- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING .
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
- Remove the supercharger.
Refer to: SUPERCHARGER .
Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors.
- Release the 5 wiring harness clips.
- Reposition the wiring harness away from the oil cooler.

WARNING:
- Be prepared to collect escaping oil.
- Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
Remove the 18 bolts from the oil cooler.
- Release the coolant pipe connector.
- Remove the oil cooler from the vehicle following the illustrated sequence.
- Remove and discard the oil cooler gasket.

NOTE: Note the fitted position of the component prior to removal.
- Remove the coolant pipe connector.
- Remove and discard the coolant pipe connector O-ring seals.
