Left Engine Mount (G2244077): Removal

NOTE:

Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING .
Remove the transmission undershield.
Refer to: TRANSMISSION UNDERSHIELD - PROJECT 8 .

Remove the engine mount nut.

Remove the 2 engine mount bolts.

Remove the front wheel arch liner.

Using a suitable tool release the drive belt from the Air Conditioning (A/C) pulley.

Disconnect the A/C electrical connector.
NOTE: Using suitable retaining straps secure the component to one side.

Remove the 3 retaining bolts and reposition the A/C compressor to one side.
CAUTION: Use a wooden block to protect the oil pan when supporting the engine.

Using the suitable hydraulic jack, support the engine.

Remove the left engine mount.
