Left Engine Mount (G2244077): Installation

  1. Install the left engine mount.
  2. CAUTION: Make sure the engine mount is correctly installed in position.

    Using the hydraulic jack, lower the engine.

    General Equipment  : Transmission jack 

  3. Remove the hydraulic jack.
  4. Install the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor and the 3 retaining bolts.

    Torque  : 25Nm 

  5. Connect the A/C electrical connector.
  6. CAUTION: Make sure that the accessory drive belt is correctly routed around all of the pulleys.

    Using a suitable tool install the drive belt to the A/C pulley.

  7. Install the front wheel arch liner.
  8. Install the 2 engine mount bolts finger tight at this stage.
  9. Install the engine mount nut finger tight at this stage.
  10. Fully tighten the 2 engine mount bolts.

    Torque  : 60Nm 

  11. Fully tighten the engine mount nut.

    Torque  : 60Nm 

  12. Install the transmission undershield.

    Refer to: TRANSMISSION UNDERSHIELD - PROJECT 8 .

  13. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
