Crankshaft Pulley/Damper

At the front of the crankshaft, a tuned torsional vibration damper is incorporated into the crankshaft pulley/damper assembly.
The crankshaft pulley/damper is located on 2 woodruff keys which are located in slots in the crankshaft. The woodruff keys are a press fit in the slots and must be correctly aligned.
If the crankshaft pulley/damper is removed, a new friction washer must be installed between the timing chain drive sprocket and the crankshaft pulley/damper and a new pulley bolt must also be used.
The crankshaft pulley/damper is not a serviceable component and must not be disassembled.
