Electric Park Brake Release When The Vehicle Has No Electrical Power - Project 8 (G2246237): Check

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

Remove the rear wheel and tire assembly.

Disconnect the Electric Parking Brake (EPB) electrical connector.

- Remove the EPB actuator and discard the bolts.
- Discard the O-ring seal.

- Turn the left caliper pivot counter-clockwise to set the rear brake caliper to the maintenance position.
- Turn the right caliper pivot counter-clockwise to set the rear brake caliper to the maintenance position.
