Upper Arm - Project 8 (G2246515): Installation

NOTE: This step is only necessary if a new component is being installed.

- Install the same number of adjustment spacers noted in the removal step.
- Install the outboard ball joint housing.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 30Nm
- Install the upper control arm assembly.
- Install and tighten the 2 upper control arm nuts and bolts.
  Renew Part: Rear upper arm to wheel knuckle nut and bolt Quantity: 1 .
  
  Renew Part: Rear suspension upper arm to subframe nut and bolt Quantity: 1 .
  
  Torque
  
  Stage 1: 60Nm
  
  Stage 2: 120°
- Remove the transmission jack.
Reposition the wiring harness bracket. Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque : 15Nm
Install the wheel and tire.

Using the approved by Jaguar Land Rover 4 wheel alignment equipment, check the wheel alignment and adjust if required.
