Lower Arm (G1818216): Removal

CAUTION:
- To avoid damage to the Constant Velocity joint (CV) or CV boot, do not allow the halfshaft to hang.
- Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.

- Before replacing the Lower arm, make sure to have followed the diagnosis and testing procedure.

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.

CAUTION:
- As the halfshaft is still installed extra care must be taken when positioning the jack stand to support the assembly. Failure to follow this instruction might disassemble or damage the CV .
- Take extra care when handling the assembly. Failure to follow this instruction might result in damage to the CV boot.
- Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.
Using a suitable stand, support the wheel knuckle.

CAUTION: Discard the bolt.
Renew Part: Lower control arm bolt(s) Quantity: 1 .
Torque
Stage 1: 110Nm
Stage 2: 300°

CAUTION: Discard the nut and bolt.
Renew Part: Lower control arm nut and bolt Quantity: 1 .
Torque
Stage 1: 110Nm
Stage 2: 300°
Torque : 9Nm
