Part Load Breather

The part load breather consists of an oil separator, two positive crankcase ventilation valves and a plastic pipe. The oil separator and the positive crankcase ventilation valves are installed in the top of the right (Bank 1) camshaft cover. The pipe connects the right camshaft cover to the intake of the supercharger.
The oil separator is installed in a channel in the top of the camshaft cover. A baffle plate, which incorporates a gas inlet and an oil drain, is installed over the channel. The 2 positive crankcase ventilation valves are integrated into the camshaft cover and connected in parallel in the gas outlet from the channel to the pipe. The positive crankcase ventilation valves regulate the crankcase pressure.
