Throttle Body (G2248486): Installation

  1. Install the throttle body, a new gasket and the 4 bolts.

    Renew Part: Throttle body gasket  Quantity: 1  .

    Torque  : 10Nm 

    • Install the 2 coolant hoses to the throttle body.
    • Secure the 2 hose clamps.
  3. Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the supercharger and throttle body.
    • Secure the wiring harness clip.
    • Install a new O-ring seal to the coolant pipe.

      Renew Part: Water outlet connection O-ring seals  Quantity: 1  .

    • Install the 2 bolts and coolant pipe.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

  5. Connect the 2 coolant hoses to the coolant pipe.
  6. Connect the breather pipe to the supercharger.
  7. Install the air filter outlet pipe T-connector.

  8. Vacuum fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING

  9. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
