Fuel Rails And Cross-Over Pipe

The fuel rails and cross-over pipe are made from stainless steel. Bolts attach each fuel rail to the related cylinder head. The cross-over pipe connects the front High Pressure (HP) fuel line to the Bank 2 fuel rail, which makes sure that there is equal pressure in the 2 fuel rails. The cross-over pipe is attached to the charge air cooler tank top by 4 P-clips.
The rear of the Bank 1 fuel rail incorporates a threaded boss for installation of the Fuel Rail Pressure and Temperature (FRPT) sensor.
