Front Door Lock Cylinder (G1818504): Removal

Use a suitable tool to remove the door lock cylinder cover.
NOTE: Loosen the bolt, but do not fully remove.

- Remove the access cover.
- Loosen the bolt.

- Position the door handle as illustrated.
- Remove the door lock cylinder.
CAUTION: Wiring harness is still connected to the exterior door handle at this step.

Remove the exterior front door handle.
NOTE: Partial removal of the exterior door handle prior to full removal is required to gain access to the electrical connector.

Disconnect the electrical connector before fully removing the door handle.

Remove the door lock cylinder gasket.
