Front Door Lock Cylinder (G1818504): Installation

- Inspect the door lock cylinder cover. If the mounting clips are damaged, replace the door lock cylinder cover.
- If a new door lock cylinder cover is to be installed, a new door lock cylinder gasket must be installed. Continue to step 3 .
- If the door lock cylinder cover is to be re-used, continue to step 2 .

Inspect the door lock cylinder gasket for damage. If the door lock cylinder gasket is damaged, a new door lock cylinder gasket must be installed.
CAUTION: Make sure the door lock cylinder gasket is correctly installed to the door.

NOTE: Driver side only.

Install the door lock cylinder gasket. A new door lock cylinder gasket must be installed if required from step 1 or 2 .

Renew Part: Exterior door handle gasket Quantity: 1 .
Connect the electrical connector.
Install the exterior front door handle.
Install the door lock cylinder.
- Tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 4.1Nm
- Install the access cover.
CAUTION: Make sure the door lock cylinder gasket is correctly installed to the door.

1. Install the door lock cylinder cover to the gasket clips.
2. Rotate the door lock cylinder cover into place. A click can be heard or felt when seated correctly to the door lock cylinder gasket.

- Inspect the door lock cylinder cover to make sure it is correctly located.
- Gently pull the door lock cylinder cover to make sure it is correctly and securely installed.
