Low Pressure Fuel Pump Assembly (G2767432): Removal
- Make sure the workshop area in which the vehicle is being worked on is as clean and as dust free as possible. Foreign matter from work on clutches, brakes or from machining or welding operations can contaminate the fuel system and may result in later malfunction.
- Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all components must be sealed.

All vehicles
- Always follow the fuel system health and safety precautions when doing any repairs to the fuel system.

- Release the pressure in the fuel system.
Refer to: FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE
- Disconnect the 12 V system.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles without seatbelt retention bar
- Remove the second row seat cushion.

The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with seatbelt retention bar
Release the 4-point harness from the seatbelt retention bar.
Remove the 4 upper bolts from the seatbelt retention bar.
Remove the 4 lower bolts from the seatbelt retention bar.

CAUTION: Protect the surrounding paintwork to avoid damage.
With assistance, remove the seatbelt retention bar.
Release the 4 clips and remove the trim panel.

Remove the access cover.

WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
Disconnect the 2 fuel pipes.
Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
Using the special tool remove the retaining ring.
Special Tool(s): 310-123
Disconnect the 2 fuel pipes and the electrical connector.
- Remove the fuel pump and sender unit.
- Inspect the O-ring seal and replace if damaged or worn.
