SEATBELT Retention Bar - Project 8 (G2250423): Installation

  1. NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.
    • Install the seatbelt retention bar mount.
    • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

    Torque  : 28Nm 

    • Install the passenger compartment rear trim.
    • Install the 6 clips.
    • Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

      Torque  : 9Nm 

    • Install the access cover.
  4. NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.
    • Install the seatbelt retention bar lower mount.
    • Install and tighten the 3 bolts.

    Torque  : 28Nm 

  5. Install the rear treadplates.
  6. Install the passenger compartment rear lower trim.
  7. CAUTION:
    • Make sure to protect the vehicle paintwork and trim.
    • Only tighten the bolts finger-tight at this stage.
    • With assistance, install the seatbelt retention bar.
    • Install, but do not fully tighten the 8 bolts.
    • Tighten the 8 seatbelt retention bar bolts.

    Torque  : 30Nm 

  9. Install the 4-point harness.
