Inner Constant Velocity Joint Boot (G2085466): Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the rear halfshaft

Remove and discard the 2 retaining clips.
- Use a suitable cloth to clean the grease from the halfshaft.
- Mark the half shaft as illustrated.

CAUTION: Use suitable protective covers to protect the halfshaft.
Secure the halfshaft in a vice.
General Equipment: Workbench with vice
Use a suitable hammer and drift to strike against the inner part of the Constant Velocity joint (CV) to remove the CV joint from the halfshaft.
Remove and discard the halfshaft circlip.
Remove and discard the inner CV joint boot.
