Differential Locking Motor - Project 8 (G2297040): Installation

- Clean the rear differential mating face.
- Apply sealant meeting the correct specification.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS
- Install a new Electronic Torque Manager (ETM).
Torque : 10Nm
- Install the rear differential.
- Install the oil cooler to the ETM unit union.
Torque : 30Nm
- Install the oil cooler pipe support bracket bolt.
Torque : 29Nm
- Connect the temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the electrical connector and secure the rear differential wiring harness to the clip.
- Raise the rear differential.
General Equipment: Transmission jack
- Install the rear differential bolts.
Torque : 192Nm
- Install the front lower rear differential mounting brackets and bolts.
Torque : 110Nm
- Remove the transmission jack.
- Install the lower oil cooler to rear differential pipe.
Torque : 6Nm
- Install the rear differential wiring harness.
- Align the rear driveshaft to the mark on the rear drive axle flange.
- Install the new 6 driveshaft to rear differential bolts.
Renew Part: Driveshaft to rear differential bolts Quantity: 6 .
Torque : 75Nm
- Install both rear halfshafts.

- Install the exhaust system center section.

- Fill the rear differential.
