Transmission Control Module And Main Control Valve Body - AWD (G1902035): Installation

CAUTION: Make sure that pressure pipe (1) and pressure pipe (2) are installed correctly before installing the valve body assembly.

NOTE: Steps 1 and 2 are to be completed out together.

Renew Part: Transmission control module and main control valve body bolts Quantity: 1 .

Torque : 8Nm

Use suitable equipment to support the transmission as illustrated.

General Equipment: Transmission jack

- Remove the 5 transmission crossmember to chassis bolts.
- Remove the transmission crossmember to transfer case mount bolt.
- Remove the transmission crossmember.

- Special Tool(s): JLR-308-844

CAUTION: Make sure that the electrical connector is installed in the correct orientation as noted in the removal step.

Torque : 10Nm

- Install the transmission crossmember.
- Install and finger tighten the transmission crossmember to transfer case mount bolt.
- Install and tighten the 5 transmission crossmember to chassis bolts.
  Torque : 65Nm
- Fully tighten the transmission crossmember to transfer case mount bolt.
  Torque : 48Nm

Remove the support equipment.

General Equipment: Transmission jack

Use the JLR approved diagnostic equipment and calibrate the main control valve body and the transmission control module (TCM).
