Rear SUBFRAME Bush (G1870578): Installation

    Install the special tool to the bush.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-028

    Install the bush to the rear subframe using the special tools.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-027-3  , JLR-502-022  , JLR-502-029  , JLR-502-027-2  , JLR-502-027-1 

  3. CAUTION: Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the component.

    Do not allow the lower edge of the bush to contact the special tool. Make sure a 2 mm gap is visible.

    Remove the special tool.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-028

    Using the special tool fully install the bush.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-027-1  , JLR-502-022  , JLR-502-027-3

    Remove the special tools.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-029 

  7. Install the rear subframe.

    Refer to: REAR SUBFRAME - PROJECT 8 

  8. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
