Pressure Release

WARNING:
  • A small amount of air pressure will be left in the air suspension system.
  • Eye protection must be worn.
  • Make sure the tailgate, hood and all doors are closed.
  1. WARNING: The air suspension is pressurized. Make sure dirt or grease does not enter the system. Always wear hand, eye and ear safety standard protection when working on the system.

    Connect the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved battery support unit.

  2. Connect the JLR  approved diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and begin a new diagnostic session.
  3. Follow the JLR  approved diagnostic equipment prompts.
    • Select 'ECU Diagnostics'.
    • Select 'Chassis Control Module (CHCM)'.
    • Select 'ECU Functions'.
    • Select 'Air suspension deflation'.
    • Follow all on-screen instructions to complete this task.
