- Verify the customer concern
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damageVISUAL INSPECTION
MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL - Coil springs
- Shock absorbers
- Accelerometer(s) installation
- Height sensor(s) installation
- Battery
- Fuse(s)
- Wiring harness physical damage or water ingress
- Loose or corroded electrical connectors
- Controller Area Network (CAN) circuits
- Accelerometer(s)
- Height sensor(s)
- Chassis Control Module (CHCM)
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step
- If the cause is not visually evident, check the system for any set Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) (DTC)s and refer to the DTC INDEX .
