Right Upper Arm - Project 8 (G2246502): Installation

NOTE: This step is only necessary if a new component is being installed.
The new right upper control arm will be supplied with 5 adjustment spacers. Any adjustment should only be done during the 4 wheel alignment process.
- Install the right upper control arm. Install the 2 bolts.
Renew Part: Upper control arm bolts Quantity: 2 .

CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.
Install and tighten the 2 right upper control arm nuts.
Renew Part: Upper control arm nut(s) Quantity: 2 .
Torque
Stage 1: 35Nm
Stage 2: 60°
- Reposition the Engine Junction Box (EJB). Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
Torque : 9Nm
- Install the front shock absorber.

- Install the cowl vent screen.
Refer to: COWL PANEL
- Using only 4 wheel alignment equipment approved by Jaguar Land Rover, check the wheel alignment and adjust if required.
