Rear Lower Arm - AWD (G1920721): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.
    • Install the rear lower control arm to the vehicle.
    • Install and tighten the inner nut and bolt.

      Renew Part: Front lower control arm nut  Quantity: 1  .

      Renew Part: Front lower control arm bolt(s)  Quantity: 1  .

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 100Nm 

      Stage 2: 180° 

    • CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.
      Install the rear lower control arm ball joint to the wheel knuckle.
    • Install and tighten the nut.

      Renew Part: Front lower control arm nut  Quantity: 1  .

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 90Nm 

      Stage 2: 90° 

  2. CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.

    Install and tighten the front lower control arm nut and bolt.

    Renew Part: Rear lower control arm nut  Quantity: 1  .

    Renew Part: Rear lower control arm bolt  Quantity: 1  .

    Torque 

    Stage 1: 60Nm 

    Stage 2: 135° 

  3. CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.

    Install and tighten the front damper yoke bolt.

    Renew Part: Shock absorber lower bolt  Quantity: 1  .

    Torque 

    Stage 1: 60Nm 

    Stage 2: 120° 

  4. NOTE: If equipped.

    Install the height sensor.

  5. Install the wheel and tire.

  6. Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved wheel alignment equipment, check and if necessary adjust the wheel alignment. SRO 576599 Wheel Alignment Administration to be claimed separately.
