Upper Control Arm

The front upper control arm is connected to the vehicle body through 2 compliant bushes, and links to the wheel knuckle by an integrated ball joint. The integrated ball joint is secured to the upper control arm with 2 bolts. There are nominally 5 shims located between the upper control arm and the integrated ball joint, which allows the camber adjustment of the front wheel. The camber adjustment is completed by adding and removing the 1 mm (0.04 in) shims.
