Did the pressure gauges fluctuate excessively when the air conditioning was set to off?
Yes: The refrigerant may be contaminated, for example with water. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved equipment, complete a prolonged evacuation of the refrigerant and install a new receiver drier desiccant bag, if available. If a desiccant bag is not available, install a new receiver drier, or receiver drier and condensor if they are only available as a single component.
