Diagnostic Procedure SDD Vehicles

CAUTION:
This procedure requires a minimum of SDD 155.05 and Software Management Pack 310 installed or later.
NOTE:
The Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment will read the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for the vehicle and automatically take the vehicle out of 'Transportation mode' if required.
- Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved battery support unit.
- Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and begin a new session.
- Follow the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment prompts.
- Click here to run: Configure existing module - Heating ventilation and air conditioning control module (155.05/51000)

- Select the 'Diagnosis' Session Type.
- Select the following symptom:
- Electrical - Climate control system - Other - Odor
- Run and close the 'Datalogger' tool to reveal the 'Extras' tab, select the 'Extras' tab.
- Run: Configure existing module - Heating ventilation and air conditioning control module.
- Click here to run: Heating and ventilation - Reset compressor protection counter (155.05/64040)

- Select 'Service Functions' session type.
- Run: Heating and ventilation - Reset compressor protection counter.
- If required, reset the vehicle to 'Transportation mode'.
- Disconnect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment and the Jaguar Land Rover approved battery support unit.
- When all of the tasks are complete, exit the session.
- Disconnect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment and the Jaguar Land Rover approved battery support unit.
