Diagnostic Procedure Pathfinder Vehicles

CAUTION: This procedure requires a minimum of Pathfinder 205 installed or later.
NOTE: The Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment will read the VIN for the vehicle and automatically take the vehicle out of 'Transportation Mode' if required.
  1. Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved battery support unit.
  2. Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and begin a new session.
  3. Follow the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment prompts.
    1. Select 'ECU Diagnostics'
    2. Select 'HVAC Control Module [HVAC] '.
    3. Select 'Update ECU'.
    4. Follow all on-screen instructions to complete the task.
    5. Select 'ECU Functions'.
    6. Select 'Reset air conditioning compressor protection counter'.
    7. Follow all on-screen instructions to complete the task.
  4. If required, reset the vehicle to 'Transportation Mode'.
  5. When all of the tasks are complete, exit the session.
  6. Disconnect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment and the Jaguar Land Rover approved battery support unit.
