Post Selective Catalyst Reduction Soot Sensor (G1935642): Removal

CAUTION: Do not allow the post Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) soot sensor module to hang unsupported.

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the 8 fasteners.
- Remove the 3 nuts.
- Remove the 5 bolts.
- Remove the right side undershield.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness from the 2 clips.

Release the post Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) soot sensor module from the bracket.
CAUTION: Make sure the post Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) soot sensor wiring harness is not twisted more than 180° and is not in contact with the exhaust.

Using the special tool, remove the post SCR soot sensor.
